Utility knives

Utility knives have a blade length from 10 to 18 cm (5″-7″) long, and the size ranges between Paring knives and Cook’s knives, although with similar versatility. They are typically used for cutting vegetables, meat or cheese of medium or small size. Utility knives may have a serrated edge for cutting tomatoes, lemons, oranges or small pieces of bread, sandwitches or sausages.
